Meghan and Tom from Peaks Island

When you step off of the ferry onto Peaks Island, you are immediately swept up into the charm of island life. Narrow, cottage-lined streets, ocean views everywhere you look and some of the most friendly, helpful residents. When Meghan's mother, Mary-Jo first contacted me, she explained why Peaks was the perfect setting for this special day, "The day will be very nostalgic for us as it is a place I grew up summers along with Meghan. I learned to sail and socialize at the club. The club's name 'Trefethen' Evergreen Improvement Association (TEIA) is my family name." She further explained that Tom had just returned from Afghanistan as a member of a Special Forces Unit, and a wedding film would be something that she knew Meghan would cherish on those days that they would spend apart.

The beautiful ceremony was held at St. Christopher Parish. Guests then headed by bus and trolley to the TEIA (the island's recreation club) where Meghan and Tom arrived shorty after by boat for the cocktail hour and reception. The days events were perfectly coordinated by Heather Quinn Cuzzi of Cairn Events while photographers, Emilie and Megan of emilie inc. photography captured each moment. Just check out the blog for some amazing photos! Portland's alternative country band This Way provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

Congratulations Meghan and Tom!
