Lindsey and John from Portland, Maine

It's not often that the bride and groom head to a local supermarket to take photos after tying the knot, but for Lindsey and John, Portland's Whole Foods is a huge part of their awesome love story! The couple met when Lindsey worked in the cafe, and after serving John coffee for a month, he finally decided to ask her out. After many more dates and a bi-coastal engagement (Lindsey is working on her PhD in California while John works in Falmouth), they chose a beautiful December day to say "I do". The ceremony was held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception while the beautifully decorated reception took place at The Portland Club. Special thanks to coordinator Mary-Theresa Tringale for making the day flow smoothly and to Whitney and Denise from Emilie Inc. Photography. I also have to give a special shout out to the band, Wavelength, who kept the party going strong. Make sure not to miss the fun father-daughter dance medley, the heartfelt speeches and all of the wonderful details of the day.

Congratulations Lindsey and John!

This is really an amazing place for a wedding. We considered Chicago Wedding Venues for our wedding and reception. Beautiful architecture in a ginormous building with original woodwork, and high ceilings make for an extremely interesting, dramatic, and formal space.
