Teressa and Steve from the Bar Harbor Club

Beautiful weather, a beautiful bride and a beautiful location pretty much sums up Teressa and Steve's coastal wedding. In a ceremony overlooking Frenchman's Bay at the breathtaking Bar Harbor Club, the couple said their vows before throwing an amazing party that kept guests smiling (and dancing!) well into the night.

Congratulations Teressa and Steve!

Rosalie and Garrett from Bethel, Maine

Though nobody wants rain on their big day, I think the misty showers only added to Rosalie and Garrett's perfect October wedding. It seemed to only enhance the colors of the autumn leaves and actually led to an amazing photo opportunity under a covered bridge. You always want to end your wedding season with a bang, and this certainly was a celebration to remember. After saying their (tear-jerking) vows at West Parish Congregational Church, the party continued at The Bethel Inn Resort. It was a pleasure to work once again with James Flachsbart of Flax Studios who captured some amazing images throughout the day. This film is a must-see!

Congratulations Rosalie and Garrett!

Kristin and Adam from Bangor, Maine

It's always nice to work with some familiar faces. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to film Kristin's brother's wedding, so I already had an idea that this would be a big, fun celebrationKristin and Adam met in pharmacy school in Rhode Island, and, after years of their lives overlapping, started dating just before graduation (check out their pill bottle wedding favors!)  The festivities were held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bangor with the bright colors of autumn all aroundIt was a pleasure to meet and work alongside Susan Sancomb of Susan Sancomb Photography out of Rhode Island.

Congratulations Kristin and Adam!

Stacey and Brandon from the New England Outdoor Center

You can't get more Maine than a wedding in the wilderness, on a lake, with the majestic Mount Katahdin as your backdrop! I typically travel anywhere from two to four hours for each wedding that I film, so having the opportunity to work at the New England Outdoor Center in Millinocket was a huge treat. I began looking forward to this day from the moment that I first met Stacey last March. I knew that it would be a beautiful wedding with some amazing people, and it certainly didn't disappoint.  It was so nice to work alongside fellow Lincoln native Lindsay Harrington of Harrington Photo & Design. Be sure not to miss a minute of this couple's perfect wedding day!

Congratulations Stacey and Brandon!

Maureen and Stephen from Falmouth, Maine

Maureen and Stephen (a firefighter/EMT) met in an Emergency Room where she was working, and, from just spending one day with the both of them, it is clear to see that their jobs completely reflect what type of people they are. Selfless, kind and caring are a few of the words that I heard their family and friends use to describe them. There are so many sweet moments captured in this film (it's hard not to tear up when you watch Maureen dance with her son, Grant!) The gorgeous ceremony was held at St. Anthony's Church in Westbrook while dinner and dancing took place at The Woodlands Club in Falmouth. The day ended perfectly with an amazing sunset across the golf course which created a stunning photo backdrop for Holly Kangas of Haven Photography.

Congratulations Stephen and Maureen!

Kara and Kevin from York, Maine

It wouldn't be a wedding season without at least one wedding in York. But really, who wouldn't want to get married there? Amazing beaches, amusements, shops and a famous lighthouse...this whimsical atmosphere was the perfect setting for such a fun-loving couple. I meet a lot of different people doing what I do, and it's always a breath of fresh air to work with a bride and groom like Kara and Kevin. Laughing, joking, dancing and smiling throughout every minute of their wedding day. Even when rain interrupted their photo shoot on Moody Beach in Wells! You could tell that this couple was so in love, and the fact that they were married was all that mattered.

The ceremony took place at St Mary's Church in Wells while the reception was held at the beautiful Meeting House at the Union Bluff Hotel in York.  The day was photographed by Patrick McNamara of Patrick McNamara Photography.

Congratulations Kara and Kevin!

Tori and Woody from Point Lookout Resort

From gorgeous ocean vistas to vibrant fall foliage, Maine can provide some of the most beautiful backdrops for wedding celebrations. Unfortunately, along with the beauty comes the uncertainty of the weather. For Tori and Woody, a 50% chance of rain wouldn't stop them from saying "I do" at the summit of Point Lookout Resort in Northport, Maine, and, just as the ceremony began, the sun came out revealing stunning views of Penobscot Bay.  Watch the smiles, laughter and tears and family and friends celebrate the couple's love story.  It was a pleasure to reunite with and shoot alongside Kate Crabtree of Kate Crabtree Photography who captured the day wonderfully through her lens.

Congratulations Tori and Woody!

Gerald and Cole from Portland, Maine

Love, love, love this film and these two grooms! From the moment I stepped into the Airbnb rental where the entire wedding party was getting ready, I could tell that this would be a special wedding.  There is no denying the love that these two have for each other and for their family and friends. After getting ready, we walked around downtown Portland for some unique photo backdrops with Josh Going of Joshua Going Photography. The ceremony was held at the St. Luke's Cathedral while the beautifully decorated reception took place at The Portland Club. Don't miss a moment of this emotional film!

Congratulations Gerald and Cole!

Faith and Mike from Cadillac Mountain

After eight years of traveling up and down the State of Maine and across New England to film weddings, you would think I would have seen it all. But, a wedding on the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park was a first for me this season.  Though I was a bit nervous about the logistics of a mountain top wedding (parking, tourists, quickly moving equipment into place, wind, etc.), the amazing backdrop for Faith and Mike's ceremony was totally worth it. Another first for me was the size of this wedding...just 18 close family and friends.  The reception in an intimate room at the Bar Harbor Inn was like a big family dinner, and the day ended with the most breathtaking sunset over Frenchman Bay.   We had the privilege of working alongside Peter Greeno of Peter Greeno Photography who took the couple through Acadia National Park to capture some amazing images

Congratulations Faith and Mike!

Lauren and Gerardo from Brewer, Maine

Six years ago, I had the opportunity to film Lauren's older sister's wedding at the Lucerne Inn. A lot has happened over the years, but this family is just as vibrant as I remember. Friends and family from Honduras, Curacao and all over the country made the trip to Lauren's parent's backyard to celebrate Lauren and Gerardo who met when they both worked at Disney World. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day with a better group of people!  Images from the day were captured through the lens of Rogier van Bakel of Eager Eye Photography

Congratulations Lauren and Gerardo!

Shaina and Roman from Samoset Resort

No matter the weather, The Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine is an amazingly beautiful venue for a wedding, but Shaina and Roman were blessed with the most perfect wedding day. There were so many heartfelt moments...the emotional first look, the Ketubah signing and ceremony at Synagogue Adas Yoshuron, the great speeches from family and friends and the elegant dances (not to mention the Hora!) A special shout out to James Flachsbart of Flax Studios who photographed the day. Check out his blog for some amazing photos!

Congratulations Shaina and Roman!

Morgan and Henry from Peaks Island

When you step off of the ferry onto Peaks Island, you are immediately swept up into the charm of island life. Narrow, cottage-lined streets, ocean views everywhere you look and some of the most friendly, helpful residents are I'm sure part of the reason that people like Morgan and Henry choose to get married here. I absolutely love it when past clients refer me to a couple, and after Morgan saw the film that I created for her dear friends Kaitlin and Peter in Ellsworth a few years back, she was hooked! The beautiful ceremony was held on the front lawn at TEIA (the island's recreation club) followed by cocktail hour on the wrap around deck and reception inside the club. The days events were perfectly coordinated by Kristin Mills of Kristin Mills Events while photographers, Emily and her husband Matt of Emily Delamater Photography captured each moment. Just check out her blog for some amazing photos! The talented musicians of the Larry William's Band kept guests entertained throughout the evening.

Congratulations Morgan and Henry!

Jory and Andrew from Bar Harbor, Maine

For the first wedding of this season, we headed back to the Bar Harbor Regency where Jory and Andrew celebrated with family and friends at The Stone House. I don't think I've ever seen a couple so relaxed on their wedding day! It was refreshing to see two people so focused on the love between them and creating a fun time for their guests. We were happy to join forces once again with Lexi and Matt from Lexi Lowell Photography to capture this special day.

Congratulations Jory and Andrew!
