One of the most interesting parts of my job is meeting new people, but when I get the chance to work with someone I know...it's even better.  Jen and I grew up in the same home town, were in the same class in school and our dad's are even cousins! So, when she contacted me back in January, I was thrilled to hear that she had met the man of her dreams and that she wanted me to be a part of her wedding day! I love the fact that they chose Jen's grandparents beautiful property for the festivities. This was truly a joining of two families (one from Maine and one from California), and a celebration of love! We had a great time, and as always, enjoyed working alongside Chris and Chris from Riley PhotoGraphic!

Holly and Matt from Point Lookout Resort

Holly and Matt were married this June at the beautiful Point Lookout Resort in Northport, Maine overlooking Penobscot Bay. It was great to be back at Point Lookout, and, once again, the stunning summit view didn't disappoint.

Mackenzie and Chris from Portland, Maine

I was so excited last year when Mackenzie contacted me saying that she was recently engaged and wanted me to film her wedding this June. I knew Mackenzie and many of her family and friends since filming her sister's wedding back in 2013. Now it was her turn, and she and husband Chris couldn't have had a more beautiful wedding day! After a ceremony at The Rock Church, there was dinner and dancing at Holiday Inn By the Bay in downtown Portland. Having heard so much about and growing up in neighboring towns, it was great to finally meet and work alongside Michaela King of Michaela King Photography.

Sarah and Joel from Grey Havens Inn

Nestled along the shore of Harmon's Harbor, Grey Havens Inn was the perfectly elegant setting for Sarah and Joel's Maine wedding. The one word that I can use to describe this event was classic...from the dress to the music to the decor.  There was no doubt that Sarah and Joel completely adore one another, and I am so thankful that they let me be a part of their special day! It was a pleasure to work once again with Cindy and her husband Justin of Cuppa Photography. This film is a must-see!

Sam and Matt from York, Maine

With an early May chill to the air, Sam and Matt were married in front of a backdrop of York Harbor and the rocky shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean at Dockside Restaurant and Guest Quarters on Harris Island in York. After filming Matt's sister's wedding in York three years ago, I had such a great time reuniting with this amazing family!  Sibling weddings are always so much fun! It was great to meet and work alongside Tas of Bring to Light Photography.

Autumn and Paul from Bar Harbor, Maine

Situated along the rugged Maine coastline and overlooking Frenchman Bay, The Atlantic Oceanside in Bar Harbor was a breathtaking location for Autumn and Paul to say their vows this spring.  The day was clearly a celebration of their entire group of friends and family. The couple's special day was captured through the lenses of Warren and Patrick of PAWs Photo and Printing.
